Teri Zimmerman

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Ms. Zimmerman has extensive roots in the agricultural business. She began her career on a small family farm in Central Washington. The farm had its own grain storage, located in Almira, and held a unit train agreement with BNSF which it shared with the local farmers’ Co-Op. Among her responsibilities were managing the relationship with BNSF and ordering rail cars. She then moved to Moses Lake and managed a trucking company where she coordinated all incoming rail shipments and truck moves supplying the dairies in Central Washington. In 2004, she moved to Spokane, WA to work for a direct shipper of peas and lentils. She oversaw the shipper’s North American portion of their export supply chain: from farm in Saskatchewan, MB to port for export. With her extensive expertise, in 2012 Ray-Mont Logistics recruited her to start a US-based operation to complement their Canadian core business. Starting from the basement of her home, it eventually employed thirty-five people. She oversaw business growth to over 20,000 loads annually, as its scope of service extended to all major ports in the United States. Given her US success, she was assigned responsibility for all agricultural business development in North America. This included driving business to expanded terminal locations in Seattle, WA, Charleston, SC. and Norfolk, VA. Ms. Zimmerman has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Governors University which she completed while working full-time. She also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Transportation Club of Seattle. She was recruited to Tri-Cities Intermodal in 2024 based on her exceptional reputation with ocean carriers, ports, marine terminals, and customers. Every day she seeks to deliver a level of customer service and value to her clientele while finding solutions for moving freight economically, efficiently, and environmentally benign. She is married to James Reynolds and has four children and five grandchildren.
